Physical Setting & Preparation
Find a place where you can experience the growing vigor of spring - perhaps near flowering plants, running water, or beneath budding trees. If outdoors isn't possible, create an indoor space with fresh flowers, sprouting plants, or images of spring growth. Sit with your back straight but relaxed, either cross-legged on the ground or in a chair with both feet planted firmly on the floor. Place your hands palms up on your thighs in a gesture of receiving. Close your eyes and take five deep breaths, with each inhale drawing in the vibrant energy of spring, and with each exhale releasing any tension that prevents you from being fully present in this moment of renewal.
