Physical Setting & Preparation
Find a place where you can feel the strengthening pulse of mid-spring - perhaps beneath flowering trees, near running water, or in a garden where new growth abounds. If outdoors isn't possible, create an indoor space with fresh flowers, growing plants, or objects that connect you to this season of expansion. Sit comfortably with your back straight but relaxed, either on the earth or in a chair with both feet firmly touching the ground. Rest your hands palms up on your thighs in a posture of receptivity. Close your eyes and take five deep breaths, imagining with each inhale that you are drawing in the vibrant energy of spring, and with each exhale that you are releasing any tension or resistance that prevents you from being fully present to this moment of awakening.
