Physical Setting & Preparation
Find a quiet place outdoors where you can feel the mid-spring air on your skin. Ideally, position yourself near flowering plants, budding trees, or fresh greenery that represents the growing energy of April. If possible, remove your shoes and feel the earth beneath your feet. Sit or stand with your spine straight but relaxed, hands resting comfortably on your thighs or at your sides. Take several deep breaths, feeling the cool spring air entering your lungs and the warmer breath leaving your body. Allow yourself to become aware of the sounds, scents, and sensations of spring surrounding you.
