Physical Setting & Preparation
Find a place where you can sit with your back against a tree trunk, preferably one that is beginning to flourish with spring growth. Feel the solid support of the bark against your spine as you settle your body against this living pillar. Place your palms downward on the earth beside you, fingers spread to receive the subtle energies rising from the soil. Breathe deeply, drawing the scent of fresh green growth into your lungs, allowing your body to slow and synchronize with the unhurried rhythm of the tree. Let your gaze rest softly on the middle distance, taking in the tapestry of colors that mark this season of renewal.
