Take a moment to find a quiet space where you feel safe and connected to the world around you. If possible, step outside and feel the earth beneath your feet. Breathe deeply, letting the air fill your lungs and calm your mind.
Opening Invocation (in Gaelic):
“Anam na Cruinne, èist ri m’ chridhe, èist ri m’ anail.
Lìon mi le gràdh, lìon mi le sìth.”
(Soul of the Earth, listen to my heart, listen to my breath.
Fill me with love, fill me with peace.)
Visualization and Healing Breath
1. Grounding:
Picture a great oak tree with deep roots anchoring you to the earth. Imagine these roots extending from your own body, reaching into the soil, drawing up strength and stability. Whisper softly:
“Is mise pàirt den talamh, is mise pàirt den chruinne-cè.”
(I am part of the earth, I am part of the universe.)
2. Breath of Healing:
Inhale deeply through your nose, drawing in the light of the sun and the freshness of the morning. Feel this breath as golden light filling your chest and soothing your heart. Hold it for a moment, then exhale slowly through your mouth, releasing sadness and grief.
Repeat this for several breaths, softly chanting:
“Slànachadh mo chridhe, slànachadh mo spioraid.”
(Healing of my heart, healing of my spirit.)
3. Heart Connection:
Place your hands over your heart. Visualize it as a radiant flame, warm and steady. Imagine each beat sending waves of light and love through your body. Say:
“Tha gàirdeachas anns a’ chridhe agam, tha neart anns an anam agam.”
(There is joy in my heart, there is strength in my soul.)
Reflection and Gratitude
When your heart feels calm, reflect on the love and light already present in your life. Call to mind a memory or person who brings you joy, even if it feels small. Give thanks to the Earth, to the spirits around you, and to your own strength.
Closing Blessing (in Gaelic):
“Biodh gràdh is solas nam chruinne-chridhe.
Gu ma slàn an-diugh is a-màireach.”
(May love and light be in my heart of hearts.
May I be whole today and tomorrow.)
