Finding Strength in Anger's Fire
Physical Setting & Preparation
Find a space where you can sit undisturbed, preferably near a window where sunlight enters or outdoors if the weather permits. Place before you a red stone or crystal, a small bowl of water, and if possible, a sprouting seed or plant showing new growth. Sit comfortably with your feet firmly planted on the ground, back straight but not rigid. Rest your hands on your thighs, palms facing upward in a gesture of openness and honesty. Take ten deep breaths—one for each day that has passed in this month—allowing each inhale to fuel your inner fire and each exhale to release any tension from your body.
