Finding Hurt's Wisdom in Spring's Threshold
Physical Setting & Preparation
Find a quiet space where you can be undisturbed. If possible, arrange a small altar with a white or purple cloth. Place upon it a bowl of water with a few drops of essential oil (lavender or rose if available), a stone that fits comfortably in your palm, and something that represents healingβperhaps a small bundle of herbs, a crystal, or an image that brings you comfort. Sit in a position that allows your body to be supported, using cushions or a chair as needed. Rest your hands palms up on your thighs, in a gesture of openness to receiving wisdom. Take fifteen slow, mindful breathsβone for each day that has passed in this monthβallowing each exhale to release a small portion of tension from your body.
