Physical Setting & Preparation
Find a quiet place where you can be undisturbed, preferably near a window where you can see the sky or outdoors where you can feel the spring air. Bring a small bowl of soil and, if possible, a blue flower or stone to represent the emotion we will work with today. Sit comfortably with your back straight but not tense. Place your hands palm down on your thighs, connecting to the earth below. Take three deep breaths, feeling the air fill your lungs completely before slowly releasing it. Notice how the light has changed since winter, how the days continue to lengthen as spring deepens its presence in the land
