Physical Setting & Preparation
Find a comfortable place near running water - a stream, fountain, or even the sound of rain on windows. If indoors, have a bowl of water nearby. Place your bare feet on the ground if possible, or rest them flat on the floor. The water represents the thawing of winter ice, carrying healing energies from the Earth Mother. Wrap yourself in a warm blanket or shawl, creating a protective cocoon for your healing work.
