Physical Setting & Preparation
Find a place where you can witness the dynamic interchange between stability and movement—perhaps near trees whose trunks stand firm while branches and leaves dance in the breeze, or beside flowing water that maintains its essential nature while constantly changing form. If possible, position yourself where you can feel the warmth of late spring sun while also sensing the subtle shifts of air against your skin. Bring a small vessel of water and a stone to represent the dual aspects of fluidity and firmness. Remove your shoes to establish direct connection with the living earth. Sit or stand with your spine aligned but not rigid, allowing both groundedness and freedom of movement in your posture. Begin by placing the stone in your dominant hand and touching water with your other hand, embodying the balanced forces you'll be exploring.
