As a born & raised Californian I found this article interesting yet I felt a certain sense of indignation. I feel Like a parent who knows their child has behavior issues but doesn't want someone else to point it out.
I've seen many governors come and go. Newsom may not be the best, but he did understand how to handle trump quite well last time around. Now? I think Newsom is just sick of trump like all of us.
I've never felt that Newsom should run for president. He really is just too elitist for our nation. We're used to dealing with, and working for, the wealthy and famous. We know the truth, that they really are absolutely NOT like us.
After his recent stance of throwing trans people under the bus to enhance his political image and position, I assume that includes presidential aspirations, I have no use for him. I also look time to listen to two of his podcasts where he kept agreeing with Steve Bannon which left me with the impression he’ll do anything to achieve that goal and reminds me too much of Trump. I’ll do everything possible to campaign against him.
