I agree that when the crash comes it will be seismicly quick. What worries me is when. There looked to be just such a rush to distance by Republicans after Jan 6 but they all came back to papa. Perhaps the biggest question is how does American democracy recover? The entire process is so disfunctional, it seems impossible to build a true democracy from the ashes that will left.
