“Reaction to a Terrorist Attack”. How often is this used as an excuse, a knee jerk reaction to any incident. Far be it from anyone to investigate and then act to give a measured response. It’s always an attack then an escalation to what a “final solution”? Brings to mind the older movie “the Abyss” where the undersea aliens see all the hate and ugliness in the world and are prepared to wipe it out. Maybe instead of finding that one example of self sacrifice they should have just gone ahead.

Thinking of east/west Germany, Berlin Wall etc. The India/Pakistan conflict clearly not resolved yet. Planetary reorganization & creation of new laws is always messy and violent. But this conflict feels different.?
