Narcissistic persons, especially those who are pathological in the sense that they use others to boost their own ego to the detriment of others, explains why so many remain in this relationship with Trump. Their own low self worth and need for acceptance trumps their ability to see that they are being used and abused. Like the abused significant other, the good times are worth staying with the abuser. Short of another COVID type plague that would effectively decimate their ranks (who needs vaccinations?), what interventions could be used on a mass level to address MAGA's complex psychoses?
