Netanyahu and Trump will drag the entire world into a war is what I fear.

The wheel of violence turns because too many leaders need it to turn.

War is their sacrament. Retaliation is their liturgy. And now they kneel before the idol of annihilation, lighting the fuse with trembling fingers and calling it strategy.

We are ruled by primates in possession of the gods’ fire—still flinging spears, but now the spears can split atoms.

No prophet, no pundit, no press release can unsee what is unfolding.

Pray for the children. Mourn for the future. And do not be fooled: no one’s hands will stay clean in this blood ritual.

I am old enough to remember when Regan was elected President & the Iranians wrapped up the Hostage Crisis ("Day ###") so fast - they were scared of him. I remember feeding my 6 month old son in his high chair when the news broke that Bush had started a war with Iran. We didn't support the war because evidence was so sketchy. 9/11 was one of the worst days of my life - those feelings have not changed much since then. So...full confession, there's a little tiny voice inside of me that says "yay!" when Israel pulls this kind of shit - I know that what Netanyahu has done is abhorrent & disgusting (tiny voice only pops up when it's Iran involved, otherwise I walk around sick to my stomach abt what he has done in the last year[s] ......that makes me feel a little better]). Is that a human thing? I'm just questioning why I still harbor those feelings from waaaay back then (please don't yell at me)...

This seems to be another predictable move by a wannabe dictator who is down in the polls. Netanyahu has little popularity with the Israelis at present due to his genocide on Gaza and stealing the West Bank. But he does have the army on his side, so why not play strongman with his “preemptive strikes”? Then he unites the people under the guise of national defense in the face of an attack, hoping to get some hero points out of it. Iran is probably at the weakest point they have been in awhile, and they were in negotiating talks regarding their nuclear program. Honestly with the bully expansionist dreams of Israel under Netanyahu, why wouldn’t they think about a nuclear weapon. And this works out to Donnie’s favor too, he gets to claim credit for being in on the intelligence and giving his blessing, and another distraction. From the shitshow here domestically. Remember that if Netanyahu did not have the military this wouldn’t have happened as you see Donnie wooing our military as he seeks dictatorship.

Iran had nothing to do with 9/11 -- it was Saudi. The U.S. assassinated Iran's first democratically elected president, Mossadegh, to install the cruel Pahlavi regime as a puppet. The Trump State Dept. also knew about Israel's bombing plans in advance, evacuating our ambassadors from Iran days before Thursday. I worked in Teheran several years ago and have no kind words for Shiite fundamentalism, but feel the same about Zionism.

No one shld attack how you feel... I was young with "Ray-gun" ( we were terrified he was going to get us blown up) 9/11 was a shitstorm from the beginning 😞. My support for Israel has dropped in the last couple of years because of Netanyahu (& Cheeto, they're both disgusting), I pay attention to what I hear from "real" people. Nobody wants to get blown up, especially if it eradicates a good deal of the human race. People just want to have a life Not surrounded by hate or by bombs going off or starving to death - I think all sides feel the same way.

From my understanding, the release of the hostages on day one right after Reagan’s swearing in was a giant F U to the outgoing President Carter & not because they were afraid of the Gipper.

BTW; Didn’t Ronny star in a movie with a chimp called “Bedtime for Bonzo”?

When I got up this morning I immediately searched for alright, how soon before the radioactive cloud reaches here. People think Iran has to build their own nuke. Why? I bet Putin has given them nukes in exchange for all those shahed drones. What else of value could Putin give them? People are missing the big picture, secure in the belief that Putin would never give Iran nukes. Oh really? Putin is such a bastion of moral decision making.
