Not soon enough. And I do hope it is extremely painful and lengthy.

My father told me that the choice a words is a reflection of the person choosing to use them, and not of what they attempt to describe. He was right.

I think he has congestive heart failure, he may live for some years to come or he may one day drop dead.

Wendy, thanks for giving me more people to block. Even the ones that slipped through in the pat week. Funny, most of them have 1 or no followers.

Amazing and frighteningly thorough. At almost 70, I just had what I've been calling the jump-starter installed on Friday the 25th, and read this on Wednesday about 10:30pm. It's a bit after midnight, and after reading the comments, the high anxiety from fear is diminished, but not negated. I seem to have misplaced the manual for expectations of chronic heart failure, which evidently includes ichemic and/or left something icky, (I know, it's the technical terms that seem to get lost in the anxiety.) I used to believe myself a thoughtful, predominantly kind person, but currently I "think" I "kind" of believe that while for karmic sake, I wouldn't wish that excruciating experience on anyone, a couldn't happen to a more deserving soul than Dear Leader Moses, Jesus, God, Mr. President SIR, with tears in MY eyes. But, I can sure hope no one feels the same way about me, no matter how completely, absolutely, indubitably I am unlike that terrible, horrible, awful, completely no good impersonation of a human animal TF-fucking-G is. Yep, feeling MY mortality folks. Thanks (not facetious), for a needed education Wendy. I believe in informed consent, or the refusal thereof.

This is a country where people will form a circle and yell “jump” to a man on the bridge or “fight ,”egging children on. The greedy will consume people for profit. The vultures are circling and his backers are not afraid because they knew he would fail, and they have his successors in place.

Contrast that video with the photos the NY Times posts of a thin, confident, jowelless, younger looking president walking across the White House lawn. I don’t think we need to debate which is the real failing president.

I can see your point (quite graphically) and while I am no fan of the President I am wholly against you using physical and mental decline to gain followers because this is clearly what you are about. This is not about Trump, it's about you and your obvious glee at being able to discuss the disabilities of others behind your hand (lik

e discussing the gory details of sex with your friends when you were 10 years old) There are so many people all around the globe trying to live with as much dignity as they can muster with these horrible ailments. Many more people are trying to give their loved ones as much dignity as they can while caring for them. They don't need to be told what happens. They live it every day. May you live a long and happy life and your words don't come back to haunt you.

Wow. I've never read such a descriptive essay about the pain, torture, confusion and embarrassment he must be enduring.

I think I'll have French toast for breakfast with the kids.

Good article but you lean pretty heavily on simile to make a point. Most aren't necessary but if you use fewer, the ones that remain will be more powerful.
