We will know that we are truly done with gender and gender expression when both become as irrelevant as shoe size. Still a long, long way to go.

I met her once at a friend’s house in Salt Lake City in the early 1990s. Even then I didn’t agree with her conservative view but admired what she had accomplished. In those days, I preferred transsexual to transgender as a means of separating myself those who were only doing cross-dressing. Time change and so does

language.

It’s like how the study of evolution outgrew Charles Darwin’s work “The Origin of Species”, is how I'm seeing it. Virginia started the ball rolling on Transgenderism & it evolved from there. It didn't go the way she wanted because everyone’s perceptions, experiences, feelings, etc, were different from hers.
