Thank you Wendy 💙💙 for laying out this horrendous and hideous legislation. How do we fight back? If BBB goes through it will be radically reflected at the ballot box. However in my opinion we need to act with urgency, protests need to evolve to a resistance organized by leaders for democracy, and should be unified in scope: such as not flying, not driving, and not paying taxes, basically choking off the economy (boycotting red states: do not spend money at Disneyland). It will hurt short time, but if this government thinks they can lambast us and destroy our rights and freedom, and force us to pay until we bleed, then we have the right to form a resistance to protect our democracy. We are beyond the tipping point. For fuck sake they just built a concentration camp in Florida. 👺Team Evil: Miller, Thiel, Vaught, Vance, Bondi follow the waving two handed jerk off demented leader, who is Putin’s personal dildo, like this is the norm of governing. Our lawmakers in DC have failed us and do not care about right and wrong, but are far more worried about getting a mean text and losing their jobs, instead of protecting their constituents. We witnessed Lisa Murkowski’s complete head dive into the shallow end of a pool when she changed her mind last minute on the BBB and voted yes. It’s disgusting and fucking infuriating. Damn, Wendy, you really laid it on the line. The rich get richer and the poor get poorer! And the rich aren't even aware enough to be embarrassed. Look at Bozo's decadent, entitled wedding. Who buys a whole city in Europe for a wedding and thinks nothing of the optics of selfishness and greed? This is one big spiritual bruise on our democracy (not to mention an actual, physical gut punch to the American people). If the relatively healthy and mentally sound people don't march, who is going to save the sick and handicapped? (We need to turn those handicaps into arrows for justice). I keep thinking back to the French Resistance. Maybe because I was born in Bastille Day (and France celebrates my birthday, unbeknownst to them) and our precious Statue of Liberty was gifted from them, I keep coming back to their example of resistance. We could lay down and let the tanks roll over us (as the regime would like us to do) or we can fight back with whatever means is available to us. Thanks, Wendy, for being brave.
