This is one of the best articles I’ve ever read and completely explains why my reaction has been so visceral. The author says point blank we are in an abusive relationship with a malignant narcissist literrally what I escaped from in my marriage.

For someone allegedly in physical decline, he can't be kept off a golf course, where he spends inordinate hours hit golf balls...so surely there must be video recordings going back a decade or so to the present that would substantiate these claims. I mean, it's not to be doubted *a priori*, but some actual visible evidence would be useful.

Really good piece. Clear, comprehensive, compelling. And timely to boot. Thank you for it.

I wonder if the US Surgeon General realizes he could have this clown committed for a psych evaluation. Wishful thinking, but will never happen.

You should have also shown the "groceries" speech. The 2024 quote nearly makes sense in comparison to that piece of unintentional Dada and verbal shitposting.

TW: Suicide, kidnapping

Thank you for this, Wendy. That more people don’t recognize the Felon’s obvious dementia is flabbergasting. His popularity is plummeting, though, which brings a small flutter of hope to my heart.

People are starting to wake up because policies are starting to hurt them without hurting Those People more. Immigrants on the path to Naturalization are easier for ICE to kidnap and traffic because they obey laws, pay taxes, keep their addresses up to date, and show up for their scheduled hearings. So their MAGA spouse is left reeling because only the Bad Criminals were going to be deported and now they see that this regime believes Bad = brown and Black.

Our soldiers take an oath to defend the Constitution, not the regime, and certainly not a wanna be like Hegseth (seriously, check out any of the /military sub-Reddits and you’ll see that no one likes the man). I have faith that if ordered to do something unconstitutional, like fire on fellow Americans, the vast majority of our troops will not obey. Troops assigned to the Southern Border have been plagued by desertion and, tragically, soldiers unaliving themselves.

When Burnt Umber is removed from office, either because they no longer can hide his nakedness or because he dies, there is no one waiting in the wings that will have the same thrall over MAGA. Not Vance, not Cosplay Barbie, not Little Marco, not Holy Roller Mike Johnson, not Russia’s Girlfriend, not Can’t Fake Being Smart.

We, the People must save ourselves, each other, and our country. And this time, we must not forgive traitors for the sake of “unity”. This time there must be trials where “I was just following orders” is found unacceptable and sentences are for life, or their very lives.

So, how do we get half of this cpuntry who are suffering cognitive illusion to acknowedge evidence to the contrary? Until that happens, the orange abscess will continue his destruction.

Worst is yet to come. Donald "The Beast" Trump is building a wall once again. Colossal tariff wall that is the beginning of the end for the system of down. At first the beast will pull the plug out of the global economy. The worst financial crisis of human history will pull a swarm of the banks underwater and the bank run begins. Then the beast will collapse a mountain of debt shattering the backbone of the monetary system causing a systemic risk to realize. Finally the beast will cast American citizens into a system slavery under the name of Ronald Wilson Reagan, just to "honor his legacy" count the number. After the destruction a new world order will be established in the US. And the Golden Age begins from the ruins of the world wide collapse. All of the system slaves will love it. No more cash - just digital transactions. No more traditional criminal activity. No more tax evasion. No more transactions without the "all seeing eye". Outcasts will hate the world without freedom, hope and privacy. To cover up the mess and distract the public by smoke and mirrors, the beast will engage in a war with Iran. Lies and deceit, corruption and decay, dancing on the graves will continue. Until; Black hole sun, won't you come, won't you come... I want to play a game. Time has come to opt out of the empire of filth. Live or die...

Thank you, Wendy. This is not only a good dive into the psychopathology that is Donald Trump, it is framed a way that most can understand. That is so long as they have not been infected by the "contagion" of his disease.

It gives me little to no pleasure to see so much of what I've thought or said to friends on the subject of his mental illness and cognitive abilities born out in your research and writing. For the sake of my country, I desperately want it not to be so. But as many of us as possible must realize it is.

It is our only hope.

And relevant it was, thank you, Wendy. Now all we need is a relevant solution to the problem before the country is destroyed. Tom Peter's point about "the shadow of the leader" falling across the entire organization (thank you, Sharon, for that) makes the 25th Amendment just words on a page, signifying nothing. The members of the Cabinet are so lost in their own pathology they are unlikely to ever see Trump's.

In the 1980's, I think it was Tom Peters in "The Pursuit of Excellence" who wrote about "the shadow of the leader falls across the entire organization." Staff unconsciously emulate the Big Boss in style and behavior to please him and rise in the ranks. If the leader is an unchecked malevolent megalomaniac, the entire body politic becomes toxic, terrified, and unsustainable. In not-so-long-ago eras, this was sometimes called "mass hysteria." We are there with MAGA and institutions that comply in advance, feeding and cloaking 47's cognitive disorders. Thanks for this post, Wendy.
