I knowingly met my first transgender friend who was my coworker. He was one of my best friends and was originally from Utah. We worked together in Seattle. Looking back on it, I never questioned anything.
He was, is, and will be Jason. I confess I lost track of him and his family--I embarked on my multi-state reality in 1984 and have lived in 8 states. Nevertheless, looking back on life--I just accepted him.
For what ever reason, I did not care about anything except Jason and who he was/is and his wonderful family. Love matters
