The piece of orange shit couldn’t make his bed if his life depended on it - so how in his hellish idea of Maga will β€˜Made in America β€˜ become a feasible reality ? Lunatic senile disgusting old dictator ….

Welcome to the new Industrial Revolution 2025 style complete with all the refinements of the original, child labor, 7 day work weeks, 12-16 hour work days, unlivable wages, no security net, no safety regs. Great times with poverty at one end of the population fueling the Gilded Age at the other. This is the wrong way to have a midlife crisis, America.

There’s a piece in Slate, written by a man who, when he was much younger, worked in a factory production line. He wrote that it was so awful he wouldn’t wish it on anyone in today’s society and reminded us that old-time factory workers were trying to make enough money to send their children to college, not the factory floor. They didn’t regard it as fun, fulfilling or worthwhile.

Thanks Wendy. That was an illuminating read. In one way the actions of this US cartel of internationalist criminal oligarchs (so happy to accept any bribes from any foreign, even hostile individuals), are highlighting the eternal philosophical tension between local community and mass society. A tragic tension that unregulated capital excacerbates to deliver perpetual β€˜growth’.

The Apple universe is prepopulated with about a billion of the best attorneys on earth who know their shit in ways most law firms only dream of. I know this from years of working with their suppliers to the Mothership in Cupertino. They have legal counsel coming out their ears, and it’s not a new thing. For the White House to take on Apple is a game that Apple is ready for…. They know every federal district court, every judge, every single scenario - and they plan for it like the Military plans for war scenarios. I can virtually guarantee you this entire thing has several legal responses already sitting on the shelf waiting for Trump to pull this shit (or any other past or future president).

They go to court insanely prepared. It was Tim Cook’s commitment and actual genius at managing supply chains (including threats to them by domestic and foreign actions around the world) that made Apple able to scale pretty much flawlessly over the last 2 decades every time it launches a new product or version thereof.

Excellent article, Wendy, per usual. Thanks for the insights and explaining how this goes down. Great job!

Can't wait for the lawsuit. And to think Cook already gave Dump a million dollars.

WT actual F?!?!? I am no economic expert. I shovel horse shit for a living, and even I know you can't "tariff" random companies just because you don't like how they talk about you. I can't believe anyone actually thinks Der Trumpenfuhrer is a "shrewd businessman." Shut the hell up before you flush the entire country down the crapper, you ridiculous orange nightmare.

I'm tired of rolling my eyes so hard I see my brain.

I brain dump voice to text at night a good 20,000 words , then during the mornings dicing up to articles , and verifying sources , and then publishing

The meditations and guidances are about 70% pre written from Druid texts

And the queer history articles are just source verification stuff

for the psych stuff I’m literally sitting here with my DSM IV and V and just churning

I should read this but I had to mention my poor dead goldfish. When I was a kid, I won it at the school fair by launching a ping pong ball into its little bowl. So, being the proud owner of a terrorized fish, I installed it in a larger bowl with some stuff so it could hide in privacy.

My mother (she of the self-admitted black thumb) made me clean the bowl. I think that poor fish ate the green stuff that lived in the bowl along with the fish food I contributed. I did all the things, letting the new water stand, etc., etc.

The fish was dead in a week. Did I blame Mom? Of course I did. I also bet that fish could have navigated quantum physics. But Mom has gone to her reward. I hope the fish is there with her, giving her a hard time. :D

When I was very young, I really wanted a bicycle. So I decided to build one out of Tinker Toys.

This is what Felon 47 is doing; building a case for "capitalism" using Tinker Toys. There's some tiddlywinks action too. Weirdo.
