I live in FL. NO American born 14 year olds are going to do those jobs. Around here most immigrants work dangerous roofing and construction jobs and horrible kitchen jobs like dish pit. Unless they have some migrant 14 year olds in mind, you are correct & this plan will fail. Our CSA pays $20 an hour for farm work - can't keep the college kids past first paychecks and relies on volunteer members to pick. I made it like 2 hours when I volunteered. The farmer himself has 6 teenage kids, not one of them is willing to work on the farm and one ran away from home when they tried to make him do it.
