I will never understand the appeal to some people to demonize humans for absolutely no reason except cruelty.

I'm a retired journalist who helped create the NLGJA (National Lesbian and Gay Journalists Association) way back in the 90s when it was important, surprising and dangerous for us Ls and Gs to come out. Since then we've been stating the obvious--we need our voices to truly understand the story of these policy decisions and to fight for equity, especially within the media. It was and still is such a fucking uphill battle. Yay for the Trans Journalists Association! Yay for you!

I dont know that I wear a cape at all, I just try to get it out. And My bespectacled face isnt all that great to stare at. lol.
