If I were reading about this absolutely stupid timeline I'm stuck in instead of living it, it would be so ridiculous as to be hilarious. During my 40th year on earth, I was a teacher in the Peace Corps - Africa. Gambia lived under a dictatorship as the result of a coup. I remember wondering why they put up with the conditions, and now I'm living here wondering the same. How much longer will it take?
